Manuel Rey Area


I am a PhD candidate at the University of Bath under the supervision of Christian Richardt. I'm interested in virtual reality, computational imaging and low-level computer vision. Currently, I am a research intern at Fyusion working on 360° view synthesis.

I received my MSc in Computer Vision from the Autonomous University of Barcelona supervised by Javier Ruiz-Hidalgo. I did my thesis on whale detection working with WWF under an ESA summer programme.

I completed my Bachelors in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Vigo with Julio Martín-Herrero.
